Cash bar available.July 14 and 15: Paint Peggy's Cove.
Nova Scotia artists have been invited to join us in painting this Nova Scotia icon. Between 10 am to 4 pm each day you will be able to wander through the village and chat with them and view their work as they paint. As paintings are completed they will be on display and for sale by silent auction at St. John's Anglican Church in Peggy's Cove. Recently restored and featuring murals by renowned local artist the late William deGarthe on either side of the altar, this event will offer a unique opportunity to view the interior of this beautiful little church.
July 21 and 22: Open Studio Weekend 10 am to 4 pm each day
Travel our "Art Route" (which stretches from Prospect on the Chebucto Peninsula through Peggy's Cove and around St. Margaret's Bay to Blandford on the Aspotogan Peninsula) and drop in to meet local artists who open their studios or display together at various locations along the route so you can meet them and view and purchase their work. Plan to spend at least a day touring the area to find that special piece of art. If you would like to spend the weekend in our area click here find a variety of local accommodations and other things to do in the Peggy's Cove Coastal Region.
