Opening Reception - July 12, 2012

Tickets are now available to the Opening Reception for this year's Festival to be held at Shining Waters Marina in Tantallon at 7 pm on July 12, 2012. The Emcee for this art filled evening will be Fred Connors, Owner and Creative Director at FRED in Halifax. Auctioneer for the live auction of paintings included on the art calendar is Brad McCaughan. This evening event is a major fund raiser for the festival and a full house will guarantee a great festival next year so we appreciate your attendance and support.

Our 2013 Art Calendar will be introduced and the live auction will be for the 12 paintings shown on the poster above. A copy of the calendar is included in the ticket price.


The artists who created the paintings will be on hand to discuss their work and sign their painting in the calendar if you wish and

A silent auction of works of art other members of our festival arts group will also be featured.

Light musical entertainment by local composer, singer, pianist and performer Deborah Gabinet.

This will be a great opportunity to start or add to your collection of local fine art.
