Paulette Melanson
Paulette is one of the local artists you will find perched on the rocks, painting Peggy's Cove on July 2 and 3, 2011. The painting above, of Northwest Cove on the Aspotogan Peninsula, is one of my personal favourites. Paulette, a very prolific artist, is president of the Aspotogan Arts and Crafts Association and will also be showing her work at their show in the Blandford Community Centre in May and in the "Two Artists and a Bottle of Wine" show at the Trellis Cafe in Hubbards in August. You can view a Picasa Web Album of her work here.
BTW the Trellis Cafe is a real hotbed of activity for local musicians and artists. I will write more about it in a future post.
