Olga Fredericks

Olga was born and brought up in the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, where she was surrounded by artists. Her father was a show-card painter, grandfather was a pencil artist, and her grandmother was an oil painter. And on her mother's side, musicians, opera singers and lots of aunts who loved to dance to lively Latin music.

Olga has won several art competitions and has sold paintings across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. As a growing artist she has been privileged to have painted under such great artists as Charles Cooper, Rosemary McAulie, Jean Edmonds Hancock, Charles Reid and Brian Atyeo. She also attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Her life has been full of art and lots of colourful people.

Olga will be Exhibiting at Artscapes at St Luke's Church in Upper Tantallon, July 1,2, and 3 and is participating in open studio days July 9 and 10.
